We believe very
strongly that anyone can help - if they choose to. Each of us has our
own unique strengths, abilities, resources and skills that can be used
to help one another. Below is a listing of how our supporters help us.
Please remember that we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which

What families can do

Take a walk together.

What school boards
can do
-
Develop and enforce physical activity requirements at
all grade levels - 150 minutes per week for elementary students and 225
minutes per week for middle and high school students is recommended.

Take a proactive role in improving access to physical
activity in schools and the community.

Incorporate lifetime sports into school PE curriculum.

Encourage schools to become healthy worksites.

Involve students in planning.

Incorporate physical activity into recess, before and
after school programs, and free time.

Discourage the omission of physical activity as a
punishment.

Assess school policies surrounding physical activity
and nutrition.
